How the Internet Changes our Brains

This is the whole point of this project.  I’m studying how we’ve changed due to technology by interviewing people who lived before it.  This infographic studies how the brain PHYSICALLY changes, and the personality pathologies that go along with it, due to internet use.  The comments my interviewees have made align exactly with the findings displayed in this infographic.

Episode 26 — Ida Mae Harris

Conway, SC
Born 1920

Ida Mae Harris passed away last week, only days before I was to meet her again at a signing event in her city.  This is a special podcast edition to honor her life.  She speaks about the Depression, and gives very good advice for enjoying the richness of life.

Episode 6 – Hal Royer

Longmont, CO
Born 1926

“The first airplane I ever saw was an old Ford Trimotor.”

Hal Royer can trace his family back almost ten generations.  He talks vividly about the Great Depression, and what it was like to come up during the Dust Bowl.  After I interviewed him, I drove through the Rocky Mountains and Glenwood Canyon during a snowstorm!
